Patients are not likely to sue physicians with whom they have developed a trusting and mutually respectful relationship.
When it comes to the nuts and bolts elements of a complex employment agreement I have a hard time beleiving that getting a true “win-win” deal is possible, even if it is desirable. Am I wrong?
Win-win is definitely achievable, but only when both parties enter into negotiations in good faith and both with a clear and dfensible idea about what their deal-breaker issues are.

When may I treat a minor without parental consent?
A person under age 18 is considered a minor and generally may not consent to their own medical treatment without authorization from a parent, guardian or custodian. There are exceptions to this rule. In an emergency, the physician should try to obtain consent from a minor’s parent or surrogate, whenever possible; if that consent is obtained from a surrogate, then it should be documented.

Which plan type, e.g. PPO, HMO, etc. is more likely to offer me a higher and stable price for services?
HMOs still generate more income than PPOs do. The median percentage of gross income from capitation increased for FPs, internists, and ob/gyns, dropped for GPs, and remained the same for pediatricians.
