- Members of the CHAC, selected for their specialty and role expertise, provide department and division reviews to establish institutional awareness and determine the search strategy necessary to compete for top faculty talent.

endeavor and greatly mitigate chances of failed searches and continue programmatic atrophy.
New Leader Engagement Program
- Leadership shortages in child health are real, resulting in a dramatic increase in young leaders being
advanced long before they are prepared to address the current complexities of academic medicine. - The New Leader Engagement Program offers placed leaders with 12-months of critical mentorship and coaching from a member of the CHAC.

The Child Health Advisory Council has outlined these critical leadership traits common among successful faculty leaders.The CHAC has amassed rich content for each competency to support one’s leadership journey and has assigned Competency Champions to efficiently address your leadership questions. The CHAC believes that developing expertise in the Core Leadership Competencies will empower current and future generations of leaders seeking to advance their programs, cultures and teams.

Pediatric Insight
The CHAC’s mission centers on capturing the leadership wisdom and experience of senior and emeritus child health leaders and passing it on to future generations. Pediatric Insight is the resulting innovative suite of articles, webinars, and conversations. Content is organized around the CLCs and represents tactical, experience-based offerings and solutions for today’s complex leadership challenges.
